It all started with the Founder Arvin Singh, an ambitious Guyanese athlete from Toronto, Ontario created At-tru-trait.

Arvin always wants to make an positive impact regardless of where he was. He was never really into any kind of fashion actually, playing sports was & still is apart of his daily life, he would partake in many other activities as he grew up but mainly basketball & volleyball. Funny enough, his mother was buying him clothes until Arvin was in Gr.10.

However things came to a halt after going through multiple blood tests from December 2021 to summer of 2022, unfortunately Arvin was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in August 2022, he couldn't believe it.

"At first, I was shocked & in denial about the diagnosis but always having a positive mindset has helped me pivot & adapt to adversity & obstacles throughout my life & I will continue to do so. I want to empower people around the world to speak up, spread awareness, kindness & positivity".

We will be starting networking events, basketball & volleyball tournaments to give back to Cancer Research & provide clothing for the homeless.
